The Remote Work Visa (Freelance): 6,500 AED for processing, a 1-year validity, and from start to Emirates ID in up to 2 weeks. You'll only need a passport and a photo.
From start to Emirates ID: up to 2 weeks for the Remote Work Visa, Employment Visa, and Golden Visa through property; up to 4 weeks for the Investor Visa; for the Golden Visa through a deposit, up to 2 weeks after receiving the bank letter. Expedited 3-day processing is available for the Golden Visa through property (16,000 AED) and through a deposit. The Golden Visa for skilled professionals takes up to 1 year.
Yes, family sponsorship is available with every option, for the main applicant's visa term: 5,200 AED per person under the Employment and Investor Visas, 7,200 AED per person under the Golden Visas, and on request for the Remote Work Visa. Documents certified by the Russian consulate are required.
There are three routes: property from 2 million AED (14,000 AED processing), a bank deposit of 2 million AED or more for 2 years (14,000 AED for processing, deposit separate), or employment as a skilled professional (employment processing cost + 12,000 AED). GDRFA requirements for skilled professionals call for a salary from 30,000 AED per month, deposits for the last 6 months, and a recognized bachelor's degree or higher.
The 2-year Investor Visa works well — it's issued for property of any value (16,000 AED). If the property was bought for slightly less than 2 million AED, a market revaluation may be possible: with a new valuation of 2 million AED or more, you can then apply for the 10-year Golden Visa.
At minimum, a passport and a photo. The Investor Visa and the Golden Visa through property also require a Title Deed; the Golden Visa through a deposit requires a bank letter; the Golden Visa for skilled professionals requires a university degree. All Golden Visas require health insurance: international coverage for the UAE, or a local policy from 1,500 AED.
A bank account can be opened with every option; with the Remote Work Visa, at Mashreq Bank. Mortgages and loans are available with the Employment Visa and the Golden Visa for skilled professionals; with the Investor Visa and the Golden Visas through property or deposit, through mortgage brokers subject to income verification. Loans are not available with the Remote Work Visa. The bank makes the final decision on accounts and loans.
Yes, you can apply for a Schengen visa with any residency option. The consulate makes the final decision on visa issuance.
